The Walther PPQ .22 is a new 5-inch .22 LR semi-automatic pistol with a blue and black finish and a polymer grip. It holds 12 rounds, includes one magazine, and has an overall length of 8.1 inches. The weight is 22.4 ounces. A manual thumb safety and a trigger safety are fitted, along with fixed 3-dot sights. The magazine release is ambidextrous and an integrated Picatinny rail is present.

This pistol suits range practice and training for shooters who want PPQ-style handling with rimfire ammunition. The 5-inch barrel and fixed 3-dot sights give a familiar aiming reference, and the rail allows compatible accessories to be added. The supplier notes that rimfire practice costs less per session than centerfire, which is the main reason to choose this configuration.
