The Smith & Wesson Equalizer is a new compact 9mm semi-automatic pistol with a polymer grip and an Armornite finish. It has a 3.68-inch barrel, a 10+1 capacity, and three magazines included. The overall length is 6.75 inches and the weight is 22.6 ounces. The slide is cut for a compatible red-dot sight, and a Picatinny-style rail is fitted under the barrel. A manual thumb safety is present, and a Maglula UpLula speed loader comes in the package.

This model suits buyers who want a concealed-carry size pistol that can take a red-dot optic. The reversible magazine release and the loaded chamber indicator give left- and right-handed shooters options for handling. The three included magazines and the speed loader support longer range sessions with less loading time between strings of fire.
