The Springfield Armory 1911 Garrison is a new full-size 9mm pistol with a stainless finish and a 5-inch barrel. It is a single-action design with a 9+1 capacity and one magazine included. The frame and slide are forged stainless steel, and the grips are thinline wood. The pistol has a grip safety, a manual thumb safety, and Combat 3-Dot sights. It weighs 38 ounces and measures 8.6 inches overall.

This pistol suits buyers who prefer classic 1911 handling in a stainless build with a full-size grip. The 5-inch barrel is a match-grade ramp that the supplier lists at a 1:16 twist. The wood grips add a traditional look to the stainless finish, and the skeletonized hammer and beavertail grip safety keep the controls familiar to 1911 shooters.
