This item is listed as a Quaker gun and described as a youth toy with a wooden barrel. The stock and lock are described as Civil War era, taken from a Springfield 1861 musket and dated 1864. The action works, and the supplier rates the overall condition as very good. The listing marks the item as used and places it in the rifle category, so the wooden barrel and the period parts define how it looks.

A piece like this suits a collector of period-marked toys or a display of Civil War era parts. The wooden barrel and the dated lock make it a conversation piece, and the working action is worth noting for anyone who handles it. Because the item is built around a toy barrel, buyers should read the description closely before they assume it functions like a standard firearm.
