The Traditions Kentucky is a .50 caliber flintlock muzzleloader with a 33.5-inch blued octagonal barrel rifled at a 1:66 twist for patched ball loads. The lock is color case hardened, and the furniture carries brass accents. A two-piece walnut-finished hardwood stock holds the barrel, and the rifle uses bead sights on a long sight plane.

The long barrel and 1:66 twist are set up for patched round ball loads, which suits shooters who enjoy traditional black powder loading. Ohio's legal-gun list for deer starts muzzleloaders at .38 caliber, so this .50 meets that minimum. The classic Kentucky-style profile appeals to buyers who want a traditional rifle for range or field use. The color case hardened lock and brass furniture accents give the rifle a traditional appearance, and the V-type mainspring is listed for fast lock times.
