The Smith and Wesson 1st Model Russian is an antique revolver chambered in .44 Russian. The supplier says the gun is all matching and keeps about 80 percent of its original nickel. The action works smoothly and locks up tight. The revolver is listed as used, and the supplier describes it as a very fine example of the model.

This revolver suits an Ohio buyer who collects antique American handguns and wants a piece with most of its original nickel and a working action. Its matching parts and surviving finish are the points a collector will check first. Buyers who want an antique revolver for display or study will find the configuration straightforward.
