The DWM Krieghoff Backframe Inscription Luger is a used pistol with a 4-inch barrel, listed in .30 Luger (7.65 Para). It was made in the 1930s by DWM for commercial sale by Krieghoff. The frame carries the KREIGHOFF SUHL stamping above the lanyard loop. The supplier notes about 98 percent of the blue and straw finish remains, with matching numbers in the correct range and excellent grips. The listing marks the pistol as used, with an excellent bore.

Its matching numbers, original finish and correctly unnumbered wood base magazine make it a configuration for a collector of early German pistols. The supplier describes the right side of the frame as marked MADE IN GERMANY in very small letters, a detail a collector will check. Ohio buyers who value original parts will find these details useful when comparing it with other Lugers.
