This is a used Fuchi Kashira fitting, catalogued under SKU MGJ90 in the Japanese swords, fittings and firearms group. Gold horses are worked onto a shukudo nanako ground. The signature reads Hamano Naotuki with kao. The supplier describes the condition as excellent, while our listing records the item as used.

A fitting with a gold horse motif on a dark textured ground suits a collector of Japanese mountings, or a buyer who wants a signed piece for display. Because the listing gives no size, check the description against the photographs before you commit. The signature and the horse motif are the two features to compare when you review the item, and the textured ground shows how the fitting was finished.
