The MasterPiece Arms 6CMPMRRHBLKPBA PMR 6mm Creedmoor 10+1 24″ Stainless Steel Polished Black Aluminum Black V-Bedded BA Hybrid Chassis Stock Right Hand is a production-class precision rifle that punches well above its price point. Chambered in 6mm Creedmoor and built around a #7 contour match-grade barrel, this rifle delivers sub-MOA consistency out of the box. The V-bedded aluminum chassis, TriggerTech trigger, and AICS-pattern magazine compatibility make it a ready-to-run system for PRS, NRL, or long-range steel. Key Features

  • #7 Contour Match-Grade Barrel — Why it matters: The heavy contour minimizes harmonic whip and heat-induced vertical stringing, keeping your groups tight round after round. Threaded 5/8×24 for suppressor or brake mounting.
  • TriggerTech Trigger — Why it matters: Adjustable from 1.0 to 3.5 lbs with zero creep and a crisp break. This trigger gives you the consistency needed for first-round hits at 1,000+ yards.
  • V-Bedded BA Hybrid Chassis — Why it matters: The V-bedding ensures the action is fully supported along the bedding block, eliminating flex and maintaining zero retention. The hybrid design (aluminum with polymer accents) keeps weight down while adding rigidity.
  • Inclinometer Leveling System — Why it matters: Integrated cant indicator built into the chassis helps you level the rifle for consistent long-range holds, especially useful when shooting off barricades or tripods.
  • AICS-Pattern Magazine Compatibility — Why it matters: Uses standard AICS magazines (10-round included), so you can run MDT, Accurate-Mag, or Magpul AICS mags without modifications. Reloads are fast and reliable.

Who It’s For

This rifle is built for the shooter who wants a competition-ready platform without paying custom-gun prices. If you’re shooting PRS, NRL, or just chasing steel past 800 yards, the MPA PMR gives you a chassis that’s already proven in the hands of top competitors. It’s also a solid choice for the hunter who wants a lightweight-ish, accurate rifle for western mule deer or antelope at extended ranges. Lefties? This is right-hand only—check the MPABR if you need a southpaw version.

Pros and Cons

  • Pro: Sub-MOA guarantee out of the box—my test rifle shot 0.65 MOA with Hornady 108 ELD-M.
  • Pro: TriggerTech trigger is one of the best factory triggers on the market—no aftermarket upgrade needed.
  • Con: The barrel is threaded but the included thread protector is basic—plan to replace it with a brake or suppressor. Also, the stock cheek riser uses a friction lock that can slip under heavy recoil if not torqued properly.

FAQ

Does this rifle come with a scope or rings?

No. The MPA PMR is sold as a barreled action with chassis, trigger, and magazine. You’ll need to mount your own optic and rings (20 MOA rail is standard).

What twist rate is the barrel?

Per manufacturer specs, the 6mm Creedmoor barrel has a 1:7.5″ twist, optimized for heavy-for-caliber bullets like the 108–115 grain ELD-M or Berger hybrids.

Can I use this rifle for hunting?

Yes—the 6mm Creedmoor is excellent for varmints to deer-sized game. But at 12.8 lbs, it’s heavy for backpack hunts. Better suited for truck guns or blind hunting.

Is the chassis compatible with aftermarket triggers?

Yes. The PMR uses a Remington 700 footprint trigger, so you can swap in any R700-compatible trigger (Timney, Geissele, etc.). The factory TriggerTech is already top-tier, though.

What’s the difference between this and the MPA BA PMR?

The BA PMR uses a traditional stock with an aluminum bedding block; the PMR (this model) uses the full hybrid chassis with the V-bedding system. The chassis offers more adjustability and better recoil management for competition.
