Yes. The B-14 action is a Remington 700 clone. It accepts virtually all aftermarket Remington 700 triggers (Timney, TriggerTech, Geissele) and stocks/chassis that fit a 700 SA. The coned breech is slightly different from a true 700, but that doesn’t affect stock or trigger fitment.
What twist rate does the barrel have, and what bullet weights does it stabilize?
Per Bergara, the barrel has a 1:10 twist rate. This stabilizes 147-grain to 178-grain bullets reliably. I’ve shot 168-grain SMK and 175-grain SMK with sub-MOA results. Heavier 185-grain Berger juggernauts may need a faster twist for optimal performance.
Is the Omni muzzle brake removable, and can I run a suppressor?
Yes. The Omni brake is threaded onto the 5/8-24 muzzle and can be removed with a wrench. The barrel comes with a thread protector. You can direct-thread a suppressor or use a QD mount that fits 5/8-24. Just check your suppressor’s minimum barrel length and caliber rating for .308.
Does the adjustable comb lock in place, or can it shift under recoil?
The comb uses a mechanical locking mechanism (two screws) that holds position firmly. I haven’t experienced any shift during shooting. You set it once for your scope height and it stays put.
