Surefire SOCOM300 SPS Suppressor Features Originally released in 2012, the Surefire’s SOCOM Series Suppressors were selected by US Special Operations Command as first among all competitors, after extensive testing under a variety of conditons. The SOCOM 300 SPS is a result of the rigorous standards set by the SOCOM tests and represents Surefire’s dedication to effective sound reduction, minimal flash and dust signature and unprecedented durability and service life. Optimized for use with .300 AAC Blackout firearms the 300 SPS features blast baffles of a high strength alloy and is finished with durable Ionbond and black cerakote. New to the SOCOM2 series is a revised internal vent system that reduces back pressure and gas blowback, and additionally they feature a recessed endcap to protect the end of the suppressor. Compatible with a variety of Surefire muzzle devices like the SOCOM 3-Prong Flash Hider, Muzzle Brake and WARCOMP adapters which are designed for use with weapons system from carbines through machine guns. Like all SureFire SOCOM Fast-Attach models, the SOCOM 300 SPS produces minimal consistent shift in impact, if at all, compared to that of the unsuppressed weapon. As always SureFire suppressors are designed and manufactured in the USA.
