The standard by which all contemporary sidearms are measured, The SIG SAUER® P226® is the pistol that set the standard by which all other combat handguns are measured. The exceptional ergonomics and balance make this fullsize pistol easy to handle. Its longer barrel yields better ballistic performance and accuracy. The P226 MK25 is identical to the pistol carried by the U.S. Navy SEALs-the fl eet’s special warfare operators. The railed P226 chambered in 9mm and engraved with an anchor on the left side of the slide is the offi cial sidearm of the SEALs.

“Since late 2016, Sig Sauer, a world leader in firearms, has been a corporate partner of Operation Hat Trick (OHT), working hard to further support the recovery of wounded service members and veterans.
The results of this partnership have been even better than we expected. OHT/Sig ’47 hats and shirts are sold through Sig Sauer’s ecommerce site and OHT receives a percentage of sales. This revenue is then donated by OHT to carefully selected veteran’s recovery organizations that support the OHT mission.
When I first met with Tom Taylor, Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Sig Sauer, he made it clear from the get-go how their company is highly supportive and committed to making a difference – and giving back – so the lives of veterans are improved. Our two organizations have that in common. Another connection point is location; their corporate headquarters is in the Granite State, where OHT is also based.
OHT doesn’t endorse or “bash” war; we are focused 100% on helping America’s injured service members recover from the visible and invisible wounds of war. We are driven to fulfill our clearly stated mission: “They promised to defend; we promise to support.”
Fast forward to November 2017. Sig Sauer extended its financial commitment to OHT’s cause by developing a commemorative OHT MK25 pistol in memory of Nate Hardy and Mike Koch, the two Navy SEALs to whom OHT is dedicated. Nate and Mike trained, fought and died together in a nighttime raid in Iraq and are buried next to each other in Arlington National Cemetery. The pistol is marketed directly to veterans, service members and supporters interested in honoring their brothers and sisters in arms.
Steve Hardy, Nate’s father, said, “The MK25 has long been the standard sidearm for the Navy SEALs and is the same model Nate and Mike carried in their last deployment.
