This is a brand new LMT AR-15 lower receiver with a standard M4 rifle stock. This is designated a receiver by the ATF and neither a rifle nor a pistol until a rifled barrel is intalled. If you want to build this as a rifle you can simply add your 16″+ upper receiver. If you want to build this as a pistol you need to remove the stock before installing an upper receiver with a barrel less than 16″.
