The Colt 1911 Tomb Of The Unknown Soldier TALO 45acp 1 of 500, is a special edition limited TALO exclusive pistol.
The pistol is a 5″ barrel, stainless steel, Government Model, Series 70 in 45acp. The slide is engraved with “Tomb Of The Unknown Soldier, 1921- 100th Anniversary – 2021” on the safety side of the slide. The other side is engraved with “Peace Victory Valor”. The top of the slide is engraved with Tomb Guard, guarding the tomb, and the inscription from the Tomb “Here rests in honored glory an American soldier known but to God”. The grips also have a Tomb Guard engraved on them.
The pistol also includes a Tomb of the Unknown Soldier challenge coin, a set of wood grips, and one magazine.
There are only 500 of these pistols making them an instant collectors item. Serial #’s have the following sequence TOTUS – 0001 to TOTUS – 0501.
