To celebrate their historic move to Tennessee, Smith & Wesson is releasing a run of M&P 9 Tennessee Special pistols.
Tennessee has been historically divided into West, Middle, and East. The tri-star state flag pays homage to this, and Smith & Wesson has laser engraved it into the barrels of its excellent M&P line of polymer-framed pistols.
“M&P striker-fired pistols have remained a cornerstone of Smith & Wesson’s legacy over the years and embody our brand’s ethos of reliability, performance, and durability. These extensions proudly bearing the engraved Tri-Star emblem are a tribute to our historic move and the rich heritage of our new home in Tennessee,” said Andrew Gore, Smith & Wesson’s Handgun Product Manager.
This limited run covers across several versions of the M&P. These include:
The M&P Shield Plus Microcompact 3.1-inch barrel, with and without a thumb safety.
The M&P 2.0 Double-Stack Compact 4-inch barrel and safety.
The M&P 2.0 Full Size 4.5-inch barrel and safety.
These pistols are chambered in 9mm Luger and are functionally the same as any other in the M&P line, suitable for deep concealment up to duty, save for a bit of Tennessee flair. The M&P Shield Plus models are available and have an MSRP of $549. The larger M&P compact and full-size models each have an MSRP of $669 and $679, respectively.

The unique colors of the wetlands served as an inspiration for the artisans at American Defense Manufacturing, which has introduced a new Bayou Camo pattern for its flagship UIC MOD 2 rifle. The Cerakote finish features a variety of different shades of green and grey that can help wearers blend in with forests, swamps, and, of course, bayous.

Real Avid’s new mount setups work with their magnetic stand-alone Smart Assist Dock, which can be mounted on any ferrous workbench. The Surface Mount comes in a pack of three for additional Smart Assist mounts. It can be mounted on any bench or wall via three included screws, allowing you to put your dedicated tools at odd angles where they are so often sorely needed.
In addition to the Surface Mount, the Smart Assist Magnet Mount is another option. It uses six magnets and can be quickly placed in the optimal place for light duties. The Smart Assist C-Mount functions just like a C-clamp would on a flat surface, and it comes with four mountable docks, two at the top of the mount and two at the bottom.

Volquartsen Firearms has announced the availability of its new Competition Bolt for the Smith & Wesson M&P 15-22, which was designed to enhance the reliability and performance of the M&P 15-22 rifle and 15-22 pistol.
The CNC-machined and DLC-coated bolt helps ensure flawless bolt operation with minimal lubrication and maintenance. It comes with the company’s Exact Edge Extractor already installed, and Volquartsen’s SureStrike Firing Pin is also included. Volquartsen’s Competition Bolt is also compatible with the factory bolt carrier, recoil spring, recoil rod, and recoil lug.
